Protection in Adversity by Joan Morrell, 2003

Protection in Adversity was first made in concrete in 1972 for Moutoa Gardens/Pākaitore, and it remained there until 1995 when it was damaged during the occupation of the park. In 2003, the statue was recommissioned and Morrell had it cast in bronze.
