This street art was part of the 2019 Whanganui Walls event, and this mural is of Edith Collier. The mural was painted by Pat Perry. Read his artist statement:
"Painting of Edith Collier, accidentally painted on her 134th birthday, in her hometown of Whanganui. Though she never really got the wider acclaim she deserved, she had a profound effect on the people her work touched nonetheless, which seems like the best any of us can hope for in the end." - Pat Perry
