A 48-metre kinetic sculpture located on the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway. The sculpture was made to the designs of Len Lye posthumously. It bobs and waves lazily in the breeze and by night emits a soft, red glow. The Wind Wand has fast become an iconic landmark of New Plymouth. Photo credit: Bryan James
