A one day demonstration workshop by Richard Parker (current artist in residence at the 85 Glasgow St Arts Centre) on either Saturday 16 or Sunday 17th November, Both workshops will have the same initial topics, but will probably end up differing slightly as questions asked start directing the content. They will be a great opportunity for both newer and experienced potters to learn from a master, and for those who enjoy Richard’s work to gain an insight into his processes.
Topics covered to include:
- Choosing which clay to use
- Choosing which temperature to fire to (c or f)
- Choosing which glazes to use
- Where to begin?
- Preparation of clay

Cost is $50 for 5hrs, 10am to 3pm, byo lunch and drink.
Bookings and payment via A Gallery - internet banking or eftpos at the gallery. Bookings are essential.
