Quartz, Museum of Studio Ceramics is the only dedicated museum for studio ceramics in Aotearoa New Zealand.
This unique Museum opened in November 2015. Rick Rudd, a studio potter, set up the Rick Rudd Foundation, a charitable trust, in 2013 and bought the building to house the Museum in 2014. He has given the building and his large collection of studio ceramics to the Foundation.
