We are honoured to present Āwhina Twomey of Ngāti Hinemanu | Ngāti Raukawa | Ngāti Tūwharetoa| Ngāti Maniapoto | Ngāti Kuia, a renowned champion of te reo Māori and a graduate of Te Panekiretanga o te reo Māori / The Institute for Excellence in the Māori Language.
Āwhina has been celebrating Matariki for 30 years and promoting Puanga for 18 years. She is a passionate advocate for all taonga Māori, tangible and intangible.
