Current works are an exploration of colour, modernism, decoration and the syntax of shapes.

I have a love of words, design and symbology, and a commitment to not asking the viewer to look too far beyond the foundational use of colour, potentially the most important component of art-making.

As one of my heroes Lee Krasner is quoted to say: “Colour for me is a very mysterious thing. I insist on letting it go the way it’s going to go. The result can be an exuberantly playful and a wild thing moving through life to it’s own rhythm”.
