“I’ve been a watercolour artist for the past 25 years or so but have recently been exploring acrylics as a new medium for me.I’m loving the learning and adapting process involved, as it is so different from watercolour painting.
This small collection of new works is typical of my subject matter, incorporating elements of humour, whimsy and anthropomorphic themes associated with animals and how we tend to put human traits on them.
I graduated from Chesterfield College of Art and Design, Derbyshire, UK, in 1980 with a distinction in studio ceramics (I still make pottery too) and recently completed a course in shoe making. An ambition of many years.”
