Join senior curator Greg Donson in conversation with eminent artist John Walsh to discuss his art practice and distinguished career as one of New Zealand’s renowned painters. They will be joined by Cecelia Kumeroa - curator for ‘He Ao Āpōpō, He Ao Tea: Māori Futures’. Starting in the event rooms, John will give a short presentation about his artworks, then everyone will move into the gallery space to hear about his paintings ‘Act 2, Scene 2: There Are Visitors at the Head and They Don't Look Friendly, Let Your Demon Go, You Can Get Him Later’ and ‘Living with Papatuanuku’.
