This exhibition considers the landscape works produced by Edith Collier (New Zealander, 1885-1964) following her return home in 1922 after studying art in Europe. As Collier settled back into life in Whanganui she took the opportunity to sketch and paint while spending time with family on their various farms. Drawn from the Edith Collier Trust Collection, Te Whare o Rehua Sarjeant Gallery Collection as well as private collections this show includes paintings, watercolours and drawings of locations such as Waitōtara (Taranaki), Ōhingaiti (Rangitīkei) and Wakarua (at Rangiwaea, Rangitīkei).
