He Aho - Threads

Artists who belong to the Taranaki Maori Arts Collective respond to the title 'He Aho - threads' in whatever way they wish. The exhibition is intended to celebrate the continuity of artistic excellence as practiced by leading Māori artists who whakapapa to the region, or who by their mahi within the rohe, have forged links.

This collection of works comprise of paintings, film, photography, installation work, print, raranga and whakairo (wood and stone). Visit to see and hear their stories within Percy Thomson Gallery in Whakaahurangi/ Stratford.
