Jenny Brown - Storytellers Dress Exhibition

Since studying Textile Design in Wellington, Jenny has always had a love of graphic design, colour, shape and texture.
Part of her creative process is cutting up cloth and rearranging pieces into different forms.
This year, Jenny is enjoying children’s illustrated stories as her inspiration. The children’s clothing she has stitched and embroidered is inspired by the main characters from picture books.
Alongside Lockett Gallery Jenny will be exhibiting a range of clothing that children can wear, pretending they are part of the story.
