Jenny Brown - Storytellers Quilt Exhibition

Since studying Textile Design in Wellington, Jenny Brown has always had a love for graphic design, colour, shape and texture.

Part of her creative process is cutting up cloth and rearranging pieces into different forms.

This year Jenny has been exploring story telling within the framework of quilt making inspired by illustrations from selected children’s story books.

Lockett Gallery will be exhibiting a series of Jenny's quilts that encourage a child and an adult to snuggle up and find themselves sharing that special bond of reading together; discovering a new world within the story.
