Movements from Pearl Rivers

According to ancient worldviews indigenous to China, the universe, humanity and all existence evolved from a single origin, inheriting a spiritual and physical reality. Such perspectives have informed this exhibition of visual arts by Tessa Ma'auga, which seeks to convey the genealogical, philosophical, cultural and artistic connections that flow between Southern China and Aotearoa through fibre-based sculptures.
