Perfectly Toxic explores the forgotten Victorian language of flowers. Everyone knows how to send a bouquet of flowers but what are those flowers saying? The Victorians had flowers for every occasion – bitter endings, you wronged me, I wronged you, even the colour of the ribbon chosen to tie the bouquet had meaning.

Embroidery is often associated with flowers but this exhibition explores a darker side not all situations are rainbows and unicorns.
