The exhibition, ‘We don’t need a reminder to be beautiful’ is an exploration of lens based artist Charlotte Lobb’s photographic practice. Working with 35mm film, darkroom processes, and digital images, she creates works that explore expressions of femininity beyond the confines of the male gaze. Featuring works from three years of exploration, ‘We don’t need a reminder to be beautiful’ is a collection of images both film and digital that consciously work to disable internalised beauty standards and explore womanhood.'
