Whanganui Opera Week Café Evening: Sunset Family Picnic at Pukenamu

As part of the Whanganui Opera Week, students from the 2026 NZ Opera School will sing under the trees as the sun sets on Pukenamu accompanied by Sharolyn Kimmorley.

Bring friends and family, a deckchair or blanket, and settle on the lawn at the rear of Te Whare o Rehua Sarjeant Gallery.

Please feel free to bring a picnic, but this is an alcohol free family event.

Free, all welcome. No bookings required.

Please park on the street only. The gallery carpark will be closed, except for mobility sticker holders.
