This street art was part of the 2019 Whanganui Walls event and was painted by Cinzah. Read his artist statement:
"The work is about man's connection with nature, recognising and honouring that we are all a part of and one and the same as/ of nature, rather than separate and above as we often think or act out.
The figure is fragmented apart and forced to introspectively look back at oneself, diving into our own psyches. A little note to peel back the layers and look inwardly every now and then as well as externally to enjoy and honour our surroundings.
The mural features an array of flora and fauna, with the main hero focus being the Karearea / NZ Falcon, a bird of prey, representing strength, focus and determination." - Cinzah
