Ruapehu by Te Rangimarie Mareikura, 2006

This woven wall-hanging made from kōrari, pīngao and mollymawk feathers, is a representation of Mount Ruapehu.

The artwork was originally part of the exhibition Tohu Manawa at the Alexander Heritage and Research Library, 05 June – 29 June 2007, to celebrate Matariki 2007. It was thereafter bought for permanent viewing at the library.
