Etching inspiration from a Rangitāne whakataukī

"Tini whetū ki te rangi, Ko Rangitāne ki te whenua"

These taniko star patterns portray four different "Kāhui Whetū" star constellations seen in the night sky

These works are apart of an arts strategy to beautify and uplift our community through embellishing our stories with cultural expressions
