Kapiti Creatives

Members of Association of NZ Embroiderers’ Guilds.

Seventeen textile fanatics meet monthly in Waikanae to share, challenge,

inspire and work separately and together to create ‘Art’ in its wider sense.

Driven by our love of fabric, threads, stitch, colour, texture and any other

techniques that inspire – we use a mix of all mediums – we create totally

different pieces, learning from each other’s efforts and outcomes.

This provides us with constant practise and learning at each month’s

gathering.

Journeys - Our Way displays the individual diversities, preferences and

similarities of those members of our group.

We hope our works intrigue and inspire other artists.
