Mike Brown, bone caver
Mike designs and creates contemporary bone carvings. His work is created largely with hand tools and each piece holds significance for its owner. Mike’s unique designs explore such themes as community, wellbeing (hauora), character and wholeness.
Rachael Davies, clay sculptor
Rachael is inspired by the human condition, creating expressive and detailed figurative clay sculptures.
David Rogers, Painter
David's paintings are a dance of dots, patterns, fine lines and colour. He is influence by patchwork quilts and Aboriginal art while adding his own Kiwi twist.
are all based at Gover St Gallery, New Plymouth throughout Taranaki Arts Trail 2023.
They will be there to meet the public, discuss their work, their inspirations and their processes while working on new pieces.
Gallery opens 9am - 5pm through the trail dates with the Taranaki Arts Trail 2023 Artists Exhibition on show at the same time
